Welcome to Westlake Chinese Academy, a leading institution dedicated to providing exceptional Chinese language and cultural education in the United States. Since our establishment in 2014, we have been committed to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the Chinese language and culture among our students. 

We aim to empower individuals of all ages and backgrounds to achieve fluency in Mandarin Chinese through innovative and effective educational programs. We believe that language learning should be engaging, interactive, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each learner.

Essay Writing Contests

Our students won 9 Gold Awards, 1 Silver Award and 1 Honorable Mentions in the 19th National CLASS Chinese Essay Contest in January, 2023.

 

Speech Contests

Our Students Pieter, Tucker, Cole, Chase, Anastasia, Fernanda and Sara Received 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Awards in the 20th Greater Houston Area Chinese Speech Competition in November, 2022.

Our Students Anastasia, Chase, Pieter and Shanika Received 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Awards in the 19th Greater Houston Area Chinese Speech Competition in November, 2021.

Our Student Kisara Moore Achieved 2nd Place Honors at the 2017 U.S. National Chinese Speech Competition in Boston on April 22, 2017.

Our student Krupali Kumar Received 1st Place Award in the 16th Greater Houston Area Chinese Speech Competition on Sunday, Nov 12, 2017.
